Ok, I must admit I'm a fan of Balkan music.:D
I like Serbian and Bosnian music the most.It has interesting mix, oriental and slavic.I like violins, gypsy's trumpets and village music but also I like that turkish/arabic sound and that way of singing.

I wanted to ask about these two singers.
They both sing in serbian but I'm wondering about their roots.
Selma Bajrami sounds to me like Albanian name, but I don't know if she ever said that.I think I read she lives in Bosnia or Sandzak I don't know.

Sako Polumenta is from Montenegro and he sings with Bosnian accent. But his name is so strange to me.I'm sure he's not Serb/Montenegrin. Is that Albanian name? Does anyone know?
He's dressing like Montenegrin anyway,like some metrosexual/gay style.Like Aco Pejovic. (http://www.yu-estrada.com/slike/aco_pejovic/3.html)

Anyway the guy has some good songs.:trampolin :whistling

from what ive heard Selma Bajrami is of albanian orgin from Mitrovica and as for Šako Polumenta this was what i was able to dig up on his background.

Šako Polumenta was born on March 27, 1968 in Bijelo Polje, Montenegro, Yugoslavia.

He is a singer/songwriter who is very popular in the Former Yugoslavia. His nephew Dado Polumenta is also a very popular singer in the Former Yugoslavia.

And for Sako,I knew he was from Montenegro. But isn't also his name strange to you? I mean cause you are from Bosnia, you might know better.

She's too freakin skinny, she don't look human to me, but that's just my opinion...I personally think that it's not normal to be like a stick.

She needs some of my famous gibanica!:common051
