This goes towards the admin, i was thinking how of many other forums ive been apart of had a shoutbox, this eliminated the need for constant arguments and lengthy threads, which will save on the bandwith and allow people to say hello and communicate directly without the need for 10000000 posts LoL ok i exagerate but you get the point, id also like to hear what others think of this not just the admin after all, this place is a democracy isnt it? :victory:

ill explain below:

a shoutbox is a box that appears at the top of the forum, it is basicly a real time chatbox, so people can chat in real time directly, instead of emailing of starting new threads which waste bandwith time and the patience of the mods :P heheheh, anyway ill find an example of a shoutbox and ill post the image below :D

Yes you would, basicly its a chatbox, everyone can chat, imagine it as a MSN window with everyone added, so everyone can seee whats been said, everyone can reply, etc etc :P

yes it is, there can be a view messages button, that can show you messages that backdate to a certian period which is chosen by the admin, it can usualy be up to 2 days of messages so you can catch up with whats happening :)

The shoutbox is complete now, i set it up and fixed some problems. If anyone has other suggestions about the shoutbox write them here.

there is something wrong with the shoutbox and the quick reply box. they dont seem to be working for me. is it just me or are others having this problem too?

I have problems with the quick reply. Shoutbox i used to but no longer.

I can't see the shout box OR make a normal reply. I had to use quick reply. Let's hope it works.

I had problems with shoutbox,after site was down. Now everything seems to work fine.

it wouldn't let me log in for 2 hours. then it let me log in but i couldn't use the forum. it said i was online, but i was still listed as guest at the same time....weird...but now everything's kewl...for now at least....:roll:
