I am wondering how developed is women's basketball in the balkans. I believe some countries used to have women's basketball, especially those ex-communist countries.

But what's the state of the sport nowadays?

yeah, I think we still have...but it's not on the same level as handball...Kometal Gjorce Petrov is one of the best women handball teams in the world - it has won the European championship twice and is always among the top 8 in Europe.

U20: 2nd in Europe

U18: 2nd in Europe

in albania women's basketball is more popular than men's :D

men's matches are sort of empty but when women play the stadiums are full and the atmosphere is always hot :O

I have seen some games , they hit almost all of their 3pts , it is insane. I love BBall but women 's version is boring.

women basketball is awful to watch, more-less every women sport is awful too watch

actually i dont really like women's basketball but on the other hand i don't really like men's either :P

however i love women's football :O and volleyball. especially beach volleyball :roll:

Iraq has a female beach volley team , they are participating in Pan-Asian games in Doha , Quatar .Of course both girls are christian :D
Quatarians love to watch female beach soccer although they don't get their women with, for more on asian games
