God is with Macedonia, has been and is and always will be!
He is a patient one, as the macedonians are, but there will be a day of reckoning and than may God have mercy on our neighbours for We, the children of the almughty God, the macedonians, shall not be mercyfull.

speaking about albanians
Population wise, I am sure there was no more then 50 000 to the most people at the time who belong to some sort of tribe.

I know i have posted in this thread before but i no longer will, i apologize. This thread is really just about forum bashing. The intellectual thing to do would be enlighten someone not post their views on here and laugh about it, it is very childish. Just wanted to say my opinion.

Come on Jovan, there comes a time when you really can't intellectually enlighten a Macedonian nationalist about reality...
...I say that's the time to laugh. :D

more from SR :D
Are you prepared to say that you know the exact population of each city in the 14th century? My guess was a estimate of a medieval population as no one knows the exact number but I am pretty sure considering Albanians modern population (Some 4 million) it wasn't any HIGHER then 100 000 and thats being generous.

as you may have noticed,i refrained from posting in this thread. I regard it completely useless and a lack of tact when some guys here make fun of the other half, when we post stuff daily.
It does not strike me good, thats why i havent mentioned anything so far.
And just please tell me one member who has NEVER said anything silly so far?
Each one of us in a way or another have posted silly stuff, depending on the issues and our knowledge on them.
Anyway....

Actually, half of her (mother Teresa) is Macedonian and half Albanian ;) Anyway, that is not the issue :)
the other half(her father) is actually Vlach....Vlachs are Macedonians....That former region in Skopje was called "Vlach colony"...how did you missed that? :)

i hope i wont hurt anybodies feelings O:-)
(entries from the latest threads and discussions!)
- Greece still has Solun (or as the Greek Govt. renamed it Thessaloniki, together with 60 other cities and villages)
-in 1945 a contingent of 140,000 soldiers from Macedonia boarded trains to go to Thessaloniki and take it back, however Tito rerouted the trains to Croatia/Bosnia to fight the Germans.
Cradle of culture, Land of nature .

sorry Amin, your islamic gems about the "messengers" of Allah (aka the biblical abrahamic prophets) preaching the ancient greeks come second :D

Albanians in FYROM
...before 1999 we had Albanian minority somewhere between 20 000 and 50 000
There is a big difference between Albanians in Macedonia, the ones that were here for centuries are much more educated and civilized than the ones that arrived from Kosovo .
In percentage, the ones that have always lived here are about 10%, the other 90% have moved here in recent years. What's more interesting is that even their physics differ from one another!
Hellene
H->X different orthography for the same sound
x -> k`s
The Latin consonants, except as noticed below, were pronounced more or less as they generally are in English.
Notice for letter x :
x was pronounced ks, as in English extra (not gz as in examine, nor kz as in exonerate).
*Xellene
K`S ellene
i->e ->je
''` sellenje
“`Selenje
Explanation for the word selenje as it given at Macedonian-English dictionary is:
selenje n. removal, resettling ,migration
all time classic comes next
(it was an amusing effort to explain why some FYRmacedonians were burning greek falgs in a village!!!)
Once more, I don't know where to put this, but I recall seeing somewhere on this forum a picture of Macedonians burning Greek fags, and comments below were like "Oh My God, there are elder people in the background!" "There are kids also!"
So to make things clearer, I'd like you to know that the picture was taken in Vevchani on the day of the village carnival, and all you saw was in Irony, they didn't burn flags, they were just making fun of those who do such things.
Respect
:D
plus those threads as whole!
(if there werent that funny, they would be better off deleted!)

i hope a linguist wont see that!
From I've read, it comes out that the connection between the Greek and Turkish language is huge

In the Mod section the votes came out:
Close it
Yes - 75%
No - 25%
As this is a bashing section i have locked it because it serves no real purpose on the forum apart from making fun of others.
