The 300 OST features a song named "Message for the Queen" even though beyond doubts it's a national Macedonian song called "Zajdi, Zajdi" (extraordinary song) also featured in other movies, there is no credit to A.Sarievski (deceased) for this fenomenal piece of music! A law suite is being written for the "300" Soundtrack publishers!

Here is the link to the song

I can't find the original one, but i Think it's featured at the end of a movie I once saw and I think it's a Croatian one(I only remember a scene where Muslims are klling Croats with hammers on a lake shore) I don't know the name, if anyone knows please post, it will be greatly appreciated cuz I wanna see that movie again.

Spartans are indeed Macedonians.

The Dorians established first the Macedonian nation and then they moved south and established Laecedemon(Laconia) with Sparta as a capital.

According to the History Channel in this video (http://noemon.blogspot.com/2007/03/ancient-macedonia-history-channel.html) , the Greek national identity was formed during that battles with the Persians and more specifically due to the Spartan sacrifice in Thermopyles, the Greeks started to feel more as Greek rather than as Athenian or Spartan. In the last battle with Xerxes the Spartans were leading the Greek army, with Alexander, he didnt allow them to lead, so the didnt join the campaign, and that why we read Hegemon of the Greeks(except the Laecedemonians).

Ofc the Fyromians are unable to understand that if they claim to be Macedonians that makes them consequently Dorians, and consequently Spartans and consequently Greeks. BUt anyway. Yes the Spartans were Dorians just like the Macedonians, while the Athenians were Iones or Yunanis from Xuthus the brother of Dorus and son of Hellena.

If they are Fyromians is another thing.

And also in the last battle with Xerxes at Plataies where he was destroyed, the Macedonians were part of the Greek forces. Even though at that period of time Macedonia was just an unimportant little village, with very few warriors to offer, and the Greeks viewed them as the little man. BUt 150 years later, Alexander came to lead.

Ok, I'm going to clear this up for everybody.

The Macedon are direct ancestors of today Macedons. In the ancient times after they conquered Asia, they decided to completely remove themselves, go north in today's Russia and become Slavic. There they learned a new language, customs and even looked different. Then they decided to return back to Macedonia in 6th-7th century A.D. Is that clear to everybody ???? :trampolin

Albanians are not direct descendants of Illyrians. We Albanians came very late during Ottoman empire. The turks brought us over here. Even though we don't look like turks, or arabic in any way they still brought us here. Then often we decided to rebel against the Ottoman empire just for the hell of it. We need to give our land back to the Slavs, because we took it unjustly. :trampolin

Today Greeks are the purest, direct descendats of Ancient Greece. Their language has remained intact. In fact any Greek can understand with no problem the ancient Greek writings. They make perfect sense in modern Greek. All great heroes came from Greece. They are the best ;)

Normally I wouldn't care but since this thread came out, I heard that this song might as well be Bulgarian heh. And indeed it sounds like a song not from the Macedonian region but from the Rhodope region.

Then I found this:

Yet again you guys are a major source of lulz.
