IMO she is the best voice in GR .
She mostly sings ethnic Med songs in many languages and dialects

Nice song, although that evacuation siren and Kenan weren't a good touch.

Alalzia, yeah she has a great voice, that's what I liked the most:

Alexiou sings depressed songs , Savina is number 1 ethnic singer in the Med .Maybe it is just a matter of taste O:-)

Calling an atheist "blasphemous" is a nice trick to make him like you more :D

Dude very nice, but we have this song also in Albanian as a serenate, from Korca. Not sure where it originates from but the music is fantastic regardless of language.

The original song is named Tango to Evora by Loreena McKennit.

..this is the Albanian version, the songs are almost the same. But i don't think the similarities are related with the Korcar serenades,i think that simply Eli Fara(Alb singer) bought the copyrights of the original Greek song.

Darien

Yeah I didn't know it was greek originally, and automatically thought it was one of the serenades, because afterall the music style is exactly the same. Basically if you like this song you will like the korcar serenades.

Btw, Eli Fara has been spending a lot of time singing in Greece. Does anyone know her there?

WisdomSeeker

it is not a greek song,as i said above:D

as for the singer,i've never heard of her, maybe the other guys here can tell you.. But in general the albanian singers are not very famous in Greece, except,of course within the circles of the albanians who reside there.

Too bad there's no English translation, the lyrics are beyond time and space. Awfully deep, very powerful message.

Yeah , i like reggae and unfortunately Bulgarian can not be translated correctly into Greek , anyone interesting can try this

http://free-translation.imtranslator.net/default.asp?loc=en&ldr=bg_el

As about non typical Greek rock i will give you this

QeUL387LTwk

Greek can not be translated correctly into English , specially the word "sparasome" which means "eaten alive by carnivorous beasts" so i will not try it .

Edit: the video was shot in early 90's ....that's why the 3rd world quality
Also the house is a haunted one in northern Athens

the bad think with jericho is that while they have some really nice songs like this one, most of what i've heared is nothing special

Underground hiphopers combine to produce a mainstream hit, not bad at all though.
