FIRTINA is a copy of the indigenous South Korean self-propelled 155 mm howitzer developed by Samsung Techwin.
    Code name is K-9 howitzer

Greece use the German PzH 2000

A few days ago we had a delegation of Turkish army officers in the Ataturk museum in Bitola, the Macedonian and the Turkish armies will do training together in Turkey, I suppose that there will be a deal Macedonia to buy this type...I'll get that information, this is a really awesome piece of equipment. We use the "black arrows", but they really weight, but this is the real thing.

BTW, my old man has a sniper rifle, he is a passionate hunter...so I have this little baby(it is exactly the same):

Attila, please mate, find some more information about this rifle, it really is the thing

    The coachwork has some differences
strengthed body + a unique tower

yes it is acutally a copy of korean one however after the tests it has been obvious that FIRTINA(STORM) is the fastest mobile artillery
and it has the fastest rate of getting ready to shoot

    AMMUNATION;
    M107(HE):18 km
    M549A1(RAP/HE): 30 km
    ERFB/BB: +40 km

    SHOOTING SPEED:

    sudden: 3 bulletts in 15seconds
    maximum: 6-8/minute
    continous: 2 bullets/minute

South Korea and Turkey are working on achieving longer range jointly

    60% climbing and

    speed:65km/h

it also has Turkish manufactured NBC PROTECTION(Gas particule filtre) and 2nd generation night vision

aahmm may I ask you airwings what Greece produce apart from olive oil D

this one is build with new technology and we already have 300 of them
you have old pzh 2000 only 24 of them

the sniper rifle is cool but you cant beat the old mosin nagant which was used by the worlds deadliest sniper of all time :

i was recently trawling the net in one of those moods you usually do when you try to find the anwser to lifes most difficlut questions like how many rpms does a washing machine pull or whats the biggest shoe size evr etc.

then i posed this question to my self "who has to date been the most effective sniper in history" then i came across the actual man. he is scandinavian and was finnic

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Simo_H%C3%A4yh%C3%A4

he has some frightning statistics if you read on.
member of the 34th Infantry Regiment and a farmer by trade, Simo Häyhä became a most feared sniper during the 1939-40 (30 November 1939 14 March 1940) Winter invasion of Finland by the Soviet Union. Using nothing more than an iron sighted Mosin-Nagant Model 28, Simo is credited with killing 545 Russians during a three month period - a feat still unmatched today by any sniper in any conflict.
The impact of Simo and men like him forced the Soviets to pay dearly for their transgressions. While Finland lost the Winter war, it cost the Soviets 1,000,000 men killed out of the 1,500,000 man invading force*. The Finns lost a total of 25,000 men in that conflict. A testament to their bravery and determination in the face of amazing odds.

most amazing thing is he used no scope just the iron sight

and gets even more frightning if you put all his kill from sniping with just machine gun firing it reaches the unbelivable mark of narly 1000 eeeeeeek
